Thank you, and goodbye.
HuddleHive is closing its doors.
When we started HuddleHive, we wanted to open the door to tech for people who didn’t yet see themselves in it. We believed a weekend in a room full of builders could change how someone sees their future.
Across eight London hackathons, including JumpStart and seven editions of Women in Tech, that belief held up again and again. Together, we welcomed more than 1,000 women to learn, build and explore tech. We are so proud of that number, and prouder still of every person behind it.

With both of us moving on to new projects, this feels like the right moment to bring HuddleHive to a close. We’re ending on a high, and we feel lucky to have done it at all.
To our sponsors and partners, including Google, Twilio, Wise, Valtech, Softwire, Amplitude, Starling Bank, Engine by Starling, Zoopla, Addition+, HackathonParty, Çelik Köseoğlu, Rewriting the Code and London.js; to the hosts who opened their doors to us, including Octopus Energy and Accurx; to the mentors, judges and volunteers who gave up their weekends; and to every attendee who walked in curious and left building: thank you.
The community you built doesn’t close with us. Keep showing up for each other, and keep holding the door open for whoever comes next.
With love and gratitude,
Sam Larsen-Disney & Jess Rush
Co-founders, HuddleHive
